Sorry, but you are only looking at it from the German side. Poland lost almost 6 million citizens (compared to about 32 million before the war), including about 3 million Jews, 2.7 million Poles and some other nationalities. The country was completely destroyed by both the Germans and the Soviets (90% of some cities). Almost all industry was stolen by Germany and Russia. Supposedly, we received part of the German lands as compensation, but at the same time Stalin took more in the east. And then we stayed in the communist zone. I am far from blaming children, but now Germany is benefiting from 45 years of development on the capitalist side, and Poland has never received war reparations, of course renounced under the influence of the USSR. So I don't see justice here. Ps. As for the German lands, maybe not many people know this, but in 1990 Chancellor Kohl did not want to renounce his claims to Pomerania, Silesia and Prussia, but only after receiving an ultimatum from the USA and Great Britain that there would be no German unification without renunciation of the claims and only then he gave up.

OMG hilarious. I literally just came back from the convenience store 2 blocks from my house.....yes I drove there. I would make a pathetic German.

Ice cube maybe a sin, but my German relative (well, Saxon really) poured about a teaspoonful of sugar into his beer. That I was horrified by that is an understatement, but he didn't care. He was a WW2 veteran part of a tank crew he was deployed all over Europe. His good time lasted 'till they invaded Russia. His tank was blasted during the battle for Smolensk right around 1941 July or so. He was wounded, and airlifted back to the Reich. He was lucky, he recuperated, but he was always had a bit of limping though. Oh, and he wasn't the most calm person either, but who could complain, after he went through fighting against the Russkies in the Eastern Fronts.

if you test any german stuff, why not take an expert at your side? you made quite a few mistakes. for example buy brötchen from a bakery, not at a discount,those are different. butter the brötchen, cut the onions right, use salt and pepper. greetings from gk, germany

As an example: The taxi package for the E-Class W212 (2009 - 2016) included - 2.1 liter diesel engine with 136 hp (optional 170 hp) - 80 liter (21.13 gallon) fuel tank - taximeter preparation - taxi ordering system preparation - taxi alarm system (in case the driver needs help) - modified springs and shock absorbers - heated leatherette seats (liquid-repellent) - full-size spare wheel with jack & wheel nut wrench - 2 fire extinguishers (one under the driver's seat + one in the trunk) - heated windshield washer system - 16-inch rims with low rolling resistance tires (optional 17-inch rims with all-season tires) The taxi package was financially attractive for taxi operators, because the E-Class taxi cost around 10,000 euros less than the "civilian" model. Unfortunately, this no longer exists because Mercedes-Benz believes that taxis no longer meet the requirements - after 80 years of taxi tradition. The taxi industry is not amused. There is now a "run" on used E-Classes with low mileage (my boss bought 32 cars from all over Germany and stored them in a hall). The combination of 2.1 liters of diesel and the large fuel tank enables an enormous range: I drove from Leipzig/Halle Airport to Ramstein Air Base and back again with one tank of fuel. Result 46 MPG, theoretical range 1,500 km (980 miles) with one tank. You could order the S-Class with the business package, but you had to convert it for taxi operations. That's why some self-employed taxi drivers bought used S-Classes. There are three of them in Leipzig. The conversion is not cheap, however, because you have to re-lay some cables. The car also has to be wrapped in taxi color (light ivory). The E-Class was painted in this color. And you pay more vehicle tax and insurance because the S-Class has a 3.0 liter V6 diesel and is often stolen. Well, my favorite as a taxi driver was the E-Class W212, the successor W213 (2016-2023) was no longer as comfortable because the car was built "sportier" (seats, driving dynamics, etc.).
